CNC Set-Up Machinist
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC machines and other equipment as assigned by department supervisor. Perform set-ups and adjustments on equipment as needed
- Perform set-ups and adjustments on equipment as needed after completing training
- Inspect and produce products at an acceptable quality level
- Understand the applications, and use SPC techniques and equipment
- Maintain a clean orderly workplace
- Perform all tasks and operate all equipment in a safe manner
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on the equipment as needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Grind special tooling
- Assist in training operations.
 
Education / Experience:
  - High school education
- Journeyperson’s card or eight (8) years (minimum) documented experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must have knowledge of use and application of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, indicators, height gages, gage blocks, optical comparators, etc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, spatial visualization and math skills
- Ability to read applicable blueprints and sketches
- Ability to perform CNC set-ups and adjustments on equipment
- Understanding of the applications and use of SPC techniques and equipment

Lean Process Engineer
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the design and implementation of cost effective assembly processes for high reliability coaxial cable assemblies
- Launch new products and drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing products
- Responsible for meeting business objectives for On Time Delivery, Lead Times, Capacity, Cost, Quality, and Safety.
 
Education / Experience:
  - Education/Certificates: Bachelors degree a must; Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years experience applying Lean principles in a high mix, low volume environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Strong track record of results in launching new products, reducing costs, lead-times, & inventory and increasing service levels and output
- Demonstrated experience in applying continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Demand Flow Technology
- Strong skills in the areas of leadership and change management

Quality Assurance Manager
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as an ISO Management Representative
- Work hands on to apply quality management methods to manufacturing processes in order to demonstrate repeatable and robust processes
- Utilize Quality management tools including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Develop and control in-house standards
- Lead quality management teams within the organization
- Work closely with the Procurement department to establish quality requirements for suppliers.

Applications Engineers
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in conjunction with customers to provide expert technical support, design products and close final deals
- Involved in the development of the technical sales proposals, analysis of data for designing proposals and customer specifications and determining
- Visit key customer sites in support of sales activities and for technical discussions on new programs and products as required (estimated travel time is 30-40% or up to 2 weeks per month)
- Analyze and respond to technical inquiries within market segments
- Transition new business to Program Management and Product Realization Engineers through formal design control process as required
 
Education / Experience:
  - Bachelors Degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline from a four-year college or university
- Applications Engineer I, 1-3 years of work experience in equivalent or similar industries

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in use of Microsoft spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

- Responsible for the RF/Microwave test measurements and test procedures
- Prep, soldering and other steps required in the manufacture of cable assemblies

Education / Experience:
  - Associates degree
- At least 2 yrs exp in the calibration and operation of RF test equipment

Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct, oversee and participate in the product realization activities associated with the Space/Test & Measurement programs
- Determination of project team members, management of entire project team, development and documentation of task lists, key milestones and formal schedules
- Oversee and document all activities from receipt of orders through final shipment, preventative actions with sound risk management principles and achievement of profit goals

Manufacturing Engineer
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Process and Application Engineering in design, build, debug and installation of tooling, fixtures and machines
- Assists in turning new products from pilot-run to mass production
- Work with management to evaluate cost improvement projects, manufacturing techniques, automation and outsourcing opportunities
- Support production and maintenance in troubleshooting machine related problems
- Maintain proper documentation of all equipment, tooling and fixtures
 
Education / Experience:

Tool and Die Maker 2nd shift
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carries out few minor and major set-ups and adjustments of product/inspection equipment and
assembly of machine tools (requires a minimal amount of time spent on the production floor minimal amount of working with production machines and equipment)
- Fabrication and assembly of machines and/or parts using engineering drawings
or concept sketches
- Document details of all machines and modifications necessary to manufacture customer product tooling/prototypes
- Recommend improvements to methods and machines in Tool & Die to preserve the highest quality possible
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot minor departmental technical problems and take the necessary steps to correct this problem
 
Education / Experience:
  - High school diploma minimum plus four years formal vocational training
- Completion of tool and die/machinist apprenticeship or equivalent
- Three years experience in metals working industry

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of fabrication processing assembly of machine tools and a good understanding of mechanical component functions
- Thorough knowledge of application and use of lathes, mills, precision grinders, EDM
- Knowledge regarding use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, indicators, height gauges, gage blocks, sine bars, optical comparators, etc.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings

Production Tooling Manager
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and coordinates the activities of Micro-Coax Production Tooling, Maintenance and Facilities Departments
- Manages and executes design, build, debug and installation of tooling, fixtures and machines
- Supports production and maintenance in troubleshooting machine related problems
- Maintains proper documentation of all equipment, tooling and fixtures
- Manages Preventative Maintenance program as well as building upkeep
 
Education / Experience:
  - Tool and Die Journeyman’s Papers and/or Engineering Technology Degree
- Knowledge of tooling, mechanisms, metallurgy, and production processes
- 3 - 7 years related experience in machine & tooling design for small precision parts

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Ability to develop and prove out new processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical procedures
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of SPC and control chart interpretation.
- Basic math skills including ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
- Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry

Plating Chemicals Lab Technician
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for running the laboratory, performing chemical analysis, process chemical maintenance, and providing QA inspection on plated materials
- Perform analytical procedures to maintain baths
- Charting test data
- Develop new procedures
- Interpret lab results
- Control process inventory
- Assist engineering.
 
Education / Experience:
  - 2 year technical degree
- 1-3 years wet chemistry lab experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally

Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preparatory operations for building of cable assemblies
- Produce, inspect and test products at an acceptable quality level
- Utilize Resistance Tweezers, Soldering Irons, Induction Soldering Equipment, Micrometers, Calipers, Gages.
 
Education / Experience:
  - High School education or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience with small parts or electronic assembly preferred

- Ability to acquire specific soldering certificates (J-Std, NASA).

CNC Quality Manager
Position Summary:
  - Develop processes and controls to assure compliance with internal workmanship standards and customer specifications
- Provide root cause and corrective action reporting for internal and external quality problems
- Create and provide training in Quality Assurance topics such as blueprint reading, inspection, SPC, workmanship standards, work instructions, and continuous improvement tools
- Improve the Quality Management System and maintain ISO certification
- Devise sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data
- Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and inspection equipment and processes
- Develop and implement procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and root cause/corrective action
- Perform quality engineering reviews of customer orders and specifications
- Develop and maintain Supplier quality management process
- Manage Continuous Improvement activities utilizing tools such as Lean and Six Sigma
- Create and manage calibration system
 
Education / Experience:
  - Four year degree, preferably in Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in a Quality Assurance role with high precision machined components
- Prior responsibility for maintaining ISO certification

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of Statistical Process Controls and Quality Control plans
- Ability to interface directly with Customers, Suppliers, and Machine Operators

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
- Six Sigma/Lean certification
- Prior experience in a high mix, low volume business
- Experienced with the requirements of the aerospace and/or medical device industries
- Prior experience creating and improving Quality Management Systems

Position Summary:

- Understand the applications, and use SPC techniques and equipment

Education / Experience:
  - High school education
- Experience with Swiss CNC equipment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of the use and application of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, indicators, height gages, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparators, etc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, spatial visualization and math skills
- Skilled with reading applicable blue prints and sketches
- Ability to stand or sit up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to be flexible, bending, squatting, etc. when manipulating/operating machinery
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Cable Assembly Engineer
Position Summary:
  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support cable assembly product realization by translating customer requirements into detailed manufacturing instructions, rates, and quality plans
- Performs final contact/specification review for customer made-to-print items. Initiates actions required by contract. Ensures complete compliance to customer requirements
- Creates Item and BOM. Creates test and inspection plans. Configure manufacturing process (or at least outline it). Ensures total cost (BOM and router) is within +/- 10% of quoted assumption. If not, takes necessary corrective action. If rates are modified from known standards, makes sure all necessary actions are taken to ensure they are achievable. Releases customer orders to Planning per schedule.
- Defines supplier requirements. Creates Purchase Specification to control requirements. Validates new part numbers. Must coordinate validation activities with QA and Purchasing. Performs First Article Inspections and Source Inspections as needed.
- Oversees any production pilot runs. Designs pilot runs to minimize the interruption to the normal production schedule. Ensures the timely completion of any required engineering support activities.
- Performs customer qualification testing as required. Creates Test Procedures for customer approval. Oversees all tests and inspections. Writes Test Reports for customer approval.
 
Education / Experience:
  - Bachelors degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentage, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, exponents, and logarithms.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to obtain "secret" level security clearance.

Position Summary:
  - Processes invoice payments, issues checks and maintains accurate records and files of the same.
- Maintains general account book.
- Controls petty cash and cash advances. Prepares inter-company billings.
- Assists in general accounting.
 
Education / Experience:
  - High school education
- 3-5 years experience in accounts payable, general and/or related.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Thorough knowledge of ordering, receiving, and subsequent payment for goods purchased from vendor.
- Experience with computer systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
